About Us
Started as the first baby & kid's store in the city of Mathura in the year 2016, today NAVIRA has an omni channel presence with the vision to provide the affordable best for kids in the city & outside.
Our retail store in the heart of the city of Mathura has over 50 brands in different categories of baby care, baby essentials, baby nursery, furniture, toys and kidswear. We also have products for new moms & moms to be. Our effort is to bridge the gap between Tier 1 & tier 3 cities and make parenting a memorable experience. And to accomplish this we also organize creative activities & contests for kids, sessions by health experts, etc.
In 2021, NAVIRA had launched it's online portal www.naviraforkids.com to serve a larger market. Having an online store, our focus is to make NAVIRA's exclusive & affordable range of kid's ethnic wear accessible to anyone across India.
The year 2022 had been a milestone in our journey when we welcomed our Co-founder, Vineet Baijal to the team who took over the responsibility of expanding the online business. We started manufacturing kid's ethnic wear under our trademark label-Baal Leela. Baal Leela is an artisan led brand with women at its core. We are proud to have created an opportunity of 'work from home' for the women karigars of Mathura who come from a very humble background. These women under the guidance of Baal Leela founders, bring together their expertise into cutting & stitching to curate a line of cotton based comfortable kid's wear which is available online & offline.
Today, the women artisans are financially independent and living a life of dignity & pride. Some got married and moved in their life, some are young mothers & some are pursuing education. Yet, the idea behind Baal Leela, to promote handmade and empower women is stronger then ever!
No mass production, no fast fashion, a well curated collection for infants to teenagers, Baal Leela range of kidswear is available on leading market places like Amazon, Flipkart and Myntra.
Rasna Baijal, our Founder is the winner of MSME Women Hackathon and Baal Leela has been selected amongst hundreds to incubate at coveted IIT Kanpur. The winning idea is to revive the ancient art of the Braj called 'Sanjhi' and we are working with the Sanjhi artists to curate an amalgamation of the beautiful Sanjhi motifs on soothing fabrics & colors.
